'Leading' fansite goes on strike to protest against the lack of localised patches for GSC Gameworld's buggy first-person title...
It had a traumatised gestation, a birth filled with dozens of complications, and now it seems that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl continues to have its problems, this time from with the game's community itself.
Self-styled 'leading' S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fansite, the German language Oblivion Lost, has announced that it's gone on strike, in protest at the lack of localised patches released for the game. Blaming publisher THQ, Oblivion Lost's website states:
"We are on strike - for so long until something changes and THQ US feel like releasing already completed patches and don't have to wait for weeks or even months, until the patch is available in every single localization."
Oblivion Lost's forums remain open though...
