Latest issue of GamePro suggests a glimpse from the return of Marcus Fenix...
Gears of War 2 hit the headlines again this weekend, ahead of the game's rumoured unveiling at this year's GDC event taking place in a couple of weeks time.
The subject of such mounted interest stems from the cover of the latest GamPro, which briefly hints towards the sequel as an 'Also Inside' piece. Now forgive us if we're wrong as we've yet to see the magazine, but the inclusion of the title on the front cover isn't really enough for us to begin getting overly excited about. If this was a serious expose, surely the front cover would have Marcus Fenix instead of Team Rainbow?
Perhaps it's little more than a recap of the rumours currently circling the rounds. Either way, the ramped up speculation does seem to suggest something is on the cards; perhaps Gears of War 2 is looking even more likely for a release just in time for Christmas.
