Microsoft confirms that the second premium map pack for Epic Games' shooter will be free in a few days time...


Microsoft Game Studios has today confirmed that 'Hidden Front', the second map pack for Epic Games' Xbox 30 shooter Gears of War, will be free to download from 10am BST on Monday 3rd September.

The pack, which has already been downloaded over 500,000 times (becoming the most popular piece of premium content on Xbox Live), features four maps - Bullet Marsh, Garden, Process, and Subway - expanding the multiplayer action between the COG and Horde.

Gears of War continues to be the most popular title on Xbox Live, something it's secured since its release at the end of 2006.

Halo 3 beta is not better then GoW - I dunno how you can label a 3-year old game with a couple of new features like the "second coming".

Bungie have got it made, Halo fans will lap up anything they throw to em.

overall ps3 sucks (from the list i made ...seams not) and xbox 360 is a better (noob cant afford one can you)
