5,000 volunteers required by SCEJ for the future testing period of Gran Turismo Online...
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has started to recruit potential testers for the forthcoming Gran Turismo Online Experiment, ahead of the release of the online enabled Gran Turismo.
5,000 Japan-based gamers are required for the test, though a fairly rigorous series of hardware tests, including internet connection type and PlayStation2 version must be passed beforehand. For the successful applicants, a disc will be sent to them at the end of May ahead of the testing period between July 1st and August 31st.
An official release date for the online version of Gran Turismo is yet to be made by either Polyphony or Sony Computer Entertainment.
