GTA IV To Break Halo 3 Record??? News

US Entertainment mag raises the possibility that Niko Bellic's exploits could smash the record set by the Master Chief...
As the countdown continues to the launch of what will undeniably be the biggest game of the year, sources close to Rockstar Games have revealed to one US mag that first week sales of Grand Theft Auto IV could top six million units.
In addition to that, various retail outlets are suggesting revenues from the first week sales of the game may surpass the mark set by Halo 3, which launched last year.
Launched in September 2007, Halo 3 managed to secure over $300 million of sales in the first seven days after release, catapulting it into the stratosphere by becoming the most successful launch in entertainment history.
Various analysts have spoken of their expectations for the Rockstar North-developed title, with figures as high as $400 million being past about by some. Rockstar Games' parent however, Take Two Interactive has so far kept quiet on the title's potential record-breaking feat.
