GT5 Complete 2009 Release Confirmed News

Let's hope Prologue's 71 cars and 6 tracks last a long time...


Within a press release ushering the March 28th European release of GT5 Prologue (a day before on PlayStation Network), Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today confirmed that fans of the Real Driving Simulator series will have to wait awhile before the full version makes an appearance.

Although Prologue provides an ample demonstration of what the full game will offer, the wait until an unspecified point in 2009 is likely to be a long one, and given Polyphony Digital's past it's hard to be too confident for an early release next year.

Still Prologue's collection of tracks, cars, and the introduction of 16-player online racing should keep petrol-heads busy for the time being; even better then that, European GT fans can look forward to additional features such as the Drift mode, in-depth car tuning features, two-player splitscreen support, and new race events.

WEll i dont know what to say i hate it and love it.

lol i bet sega boy diddnt think he would have to wait till 2009 maybe even 2010 to play gt5 by that time forza 3 will probably be out with the same attention to detail as gt5

the reason sony keep giving us release dates is so fools like me buy the ps3. i decided to sell my ps3 and stick to my 360.... if the truth be told , i think the nintendo 64 is better than the ps3

pgr4 is a full on arcade racer not only that but its good fun too shame you lot of ps3 fanboys dont look at that besides no racing game is a full on simulation ie you just cant simulate geforces on your self.
