GT4 Pushed Back In USA? News

24 hours after the announcement that GT4 is to be delayed in Japan, unconfirmed reports are made that the US version is delayed till Q1 2005…

A complete debacle; ridiculous; unbelievable â“ whatever you choose to call the car crash aftermath that is Gran Turismo 4âs development (delayed by over 12 months and STILL counting), the news that it was to be delayed in Japan until the end of December must have caused yet another groan of discontentment to reverberate around the world.

The aftershock of the announcement yesterday has been felt today with reports that the US version is to be delayed until the 1st Quarter 2005 as a result of the Japanese delay. The game was due to be released Stateside on December 14th, and whilst confirmation of the delay hasnât yet been given; it does seem somewhat inevitable that the Japanese delay would have a knock-on effect on the other release dates for GT4.
