Fury Dev Calls In Administrators News

Auron lays off all bar a skeleton staff as Australian studio continues to pledge that tomorrow's update remains on track...
Aussie development studio Auron has today confirmed that it has called in Voluntary Administrators and made its staff redundant, just days before launching the first add-on for their MMO, Fury.
Since its launch in October, the game has received a less than impressive reception, something that the studio admits did not fulfil its hope of providing a 'world-beating game'. Auron confirms that its staff has been compensated with a redundancy package, which includes long service leave and annual leave entitlements.
Despite today's obviously bleak news for all associated with the game, Auron remains adamant and defiant that it won't be the end of Fury or its other brand, Trainz:
"Whilst this is the end of Auran Developments, it is far from the end of FURY and Trainz...I believe that once people hear about F:AotC and the new Free to Play business model, we'll start building up the player numbers and revenues that will make the game successful...I expect the naysayers will have different thoughts, but they haven't played the new build...yet."
Auron also confirms that the add-on Fury: Age of Chosen, remains on course for launch tomorrow (Dec 14th) at 8pm GMT.
