Full WipEout Pure DLC Details Revealed News

SCEE unveils the downloadable content available in the coming weeks for the futuristic arcade racer...

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today revealed full details of the downloadable content for PSP launch title, WipEout Pure. Today (September 1st) sees the launch of the first of four âpacksâ: Gamma, which will feature new tracks, and new skins designed by visual artists Scien and Jon Burgerman .

Three other DLC packs will become available in the following weeks including âDeltaâ on September 16th in association with sports brand Puma which will feature a specially skinned Puma racecraft and branded tracks.

October 3rd and 16th will see the release of âClassicâ packs 1 and 2 that further expand the WipEout Pure experience with original music, tracks and skins, to be followed by the PAL territory exclusive âOmegaâ pack on November 1st.

The âOmegaâ pack will feature tracks, craft, and skins designed by four of Europeâs leading visual artists including Mark James, Neil MacFarland as well as further work by Scien and Burgerman. SCEE stresses that the four downloadable packs will mean that that WipEout Pure will be double the size in a matter of weeks.

lol an 80 gb psp is not possible unless they use ssd hard drives which cost sh*t loads to buy independantly maybe you should get used to dreaming, though if they stop making any games for it or make a psp that could only get games from the ps3 then y... [ Read full comment... ]

UMD already dead. Sony has nothing to lose by adding
SD stuff on the Blu-ray discs for PSP viewing.

good point but i think i would only pay about $250 and not bother with the touch screen.with mobile tec in there you could play games over the net any time any where but only at a reasonable price of course.

Sony should have added a 40 or 80 gig internal hard drive like the ipod to the psp instead of making it thinner and lighter! With the extra space it would be
