Typically we'd never write an accompanying article for the release of new screens or a trailer; however, today we just had to make an exception to that rule.

Not because of the enormity of the game in question - though Flipper Critters does actually look pretty cool - but because of a monumental cock-up in the localisation of the trailer.

Presumably Conspiracy Entertainment Europe employed the services of a Hungarian tramp, tempting him with beer money to bring their trailer to life; either that or one little "r" has resulted in an entirely different meaning to "two fiends".

Despite the mistake - we're reliably informed that Gawain "Tiger" Chesterton and Bubba "Monkey" McManus are best of "friends" in this new adventure for the Nintendo DS - Flipper Critters promises to be the biggest shake-up to pinball games in the last few years, whilst Zen Studios technical wizardry has also resulted in the first DS title to display 3D visuals on both screens.

Flipper Critters is scheduled for a September release and is one of the sleeper titles that we're really looking forward to; keep an eye out for further coverage, but make sure to check out the typo trailer whilst you're at it.
