Soothing and seductive, flOw draws you into the evolution of a simple aquatic creature journeying through the surreal abyss. flOw is the first game ever to come from the university to first-party publishing on a major console. Initially an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) thesis, flOw is a game about piloting an aquatic organism through a surreal biosphere where players consume other organisms, evolve, and advance their organisms into the abyss.

Listing on SCEE's UK website features a PSP version of the micro-organism sim, coming via PSN in March...

One of the more delightful offerings for PlayStation 3 owners to download when the console launched last March, thatgamecompany's micro-organism sim flOw will be drifting into the portable world in the Spring when it's released on PSP.

Pencilled in for launch around March, flOw on PSP will be downloadable via the PlayStation Network, and will once again take players through the plankton-ridden world of the deep blue.

A price for the title is yet to be announced, but SCEE has revealed that the game will include multiplayer support for up to four players over Wi-Fi Ad Hoc. thatgamecompany is currently working another PSN offering for PlayStation 3 at the moment - Flower - first unveiled during Tokyo Game Show 2007.

Unknown? Google "flow in games" - it's been out there awhile, only as single-player though.
