Halo 3 will pick up where Halo 2 left off. The Master Chief is returning to Earth to finish the fight. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands - an object who's secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth's forces are battered and beaten. The Master Chief's AI companion Cortana is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind - a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant.

Bungie confirms that the first set of new maps will be heading to the Marketplace in mid-December...


Now that they've secured their own independence from Microsoft, Bungie Studios has confirmed their first release will be...downloadable content for Halo 3.

Available from December 11th for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80), the "Heroic Map Pack" will feature three new multiplayer maps, Rat's Nest, Foundry, and Standoff, each catering to the playlists and Forge meta-game in Halo 3.

Microsoft Game Studios also confirms that the pack will become free to download next Spring - which we're guessing is when they'll deliver the next set of content for the Master Chief's final romp.

kool i've heard cryprus is a good place 2 go in the summer but i've around and about diz year man. i've been miami, brazil and north canada with a few m8's. It cost a bucket load but it wuz worth it plus i hooked up wit a few girlz.
