First Bite Of Castlevania Double Packs Announced News

Konami confirms that the first of many Castlevania twin packs for GameBoy Advance will be released in February 2006...
Konami has today announced that February 2006 will see the release of the first Castlevania Double Packs for GameBoy Advance, which will contain Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Set fifty years after the triumph of Simon Belmont over Dracula, Harmony of Dissonance follows the story of Juste Belmont who returns to the vampire's castle to obtain the creature's lost relics. The disappearance of one of Juste friends prompts the new Belmont to seek out and destroy Dracula once and for all.
The second title, Aria of Sorrow is set in 2035 and follows Soma Cruz, who tries to escape from Dracula's castle and their destiny as the next incarnation of the vampire himself. The game features levels of RPG elements to increase the level of depth.
"Castlevania's rich history and deep storylines have always made it a favorite franchise among casual gamers and core gaming fans alike," commented Hans-Joachim Amann, Head of European Product Management, Konami of Europe.
"Combining two of the most beloved chapters in this long running franchise together onto one cartridge provides gamers a great value as well as giving newcomers to the series a convenient way to experience some of the best of what Castlevania has to offer."
Another Castlevania titles is set to make an appearance in 2006 with Castlevania: Curse of Darkness due for Xbox and PlayStation2 in the next twelve months.
