We bring you further information on the first sequel Square have ever created...
A deluge of Final Fantasy X2 information was released in the latest issue of Famitsu. After bringing you new screens yesterday, we can now reveal that there will be no Rikku version as initially suspected. Instead Rikku will join Yuna and a currently unknown new character in the game.
The story takes place two years after the battle with Sin, and tells of Yuna witnessing a silhouette that strongly resembles Final Fantasy X main character Tidus. A number of features that appeared in Final Fantasy X have been removed, such as the Time Split, OverKill, OverDrive and Sphere Grid. However several new functions have been added such as the Dash, Jump and Active Mode, which should produce a more free-flowing game then previous Final Fantasy titles.
Itās also believed that the game will not be as linear as other Final Fantasy titles, the player will have a number of places to visit right from the start and have access to a number of vehicles.
