V-Jump hints that the new GameCube Final Fantasy title; whilst others doubt the authenticity…
Judging from our stats it appears that quite a few people are interested in the chances of seeing another Final Fantasy title for the GameCube.
Well Nintendo fans may be in for a rare bout of joy, as news coming from Japan today suggested that a new Final Fantasy is indeed heading towards the Cube.
In its latest issue, V-Jump has intriguingly stoked the rumour pot, with an image appearing and the hint that the title will be named Final Fantasy: Guilty Wing.
Sadly the article refuses to offer any further information, except for the confirmation that this is being released on the GameCube and includes an inverted image of Squall from Final Fantasy VIII â“ surely enough for FF fans to begin getting into a lather about.
Although Nintendo fans may want to wait a little longer before jumping down the streets in joy, as various sources have already begun to suggest that the image is a hoax, bringing back memories of the MegaTon debacle; weâll hopefully have official confirmation soon.
