Hong Kong director Stanley Tong confirmed as in talks to bring the Eidos game to the big screen...
Having already been optioned to Uwe Boll in 2004 it seems that a movie adaptation to Eidos' 2000 PlayStation title Fear Effect may end up being produced by Hong Kong director Stanley Tong, according to a report on Reuters today.
Tong, who has helmed three Jackie Chan movies in the past, is in talks with MindFire Entertainment (which was also involved in Boll's House of the Dead adaptation in 2003), to direct the film.
The report by Reuters also states that Eidos are currently working on a next-gen instalment of Fear Effect, although this is yet to be confirmed by the British-based publisher.
We'll have more news shortly...
