Having brought PlayStation to the world, Ken Kutaragi takes a position at one of Japan's multi-media giants...


It seems the "Father of PlayStation" finally has new fish to fry following his abrupt departure from Sony Computer Entertainment as a consequence of the dismal PS3 launch.

Japanese reports suggest that Ken Kutaragi will be joining the board of Kadokawa Group Holdings, a parent company housing 56 affiliated studios specialising in publishing, film, visuals, cross-media and videogames.

The position will be formally announced at the company's 54th annual general meeting, when we'll have to wait and see whether Kutaragi-san will specialise in the videogame business of the group or take an overview of all aspects.

lol anyone up for £55 of content on the £355 160gb ps3 (and i thought the ps3 was supposed to be future proof with this news obviously not as this case has proved)though knowing sony the actual uk price will more than likely be higher pro... [ Read full comment... ]

Why do people say its ffVII sequel!!! If you read the initial story it says it has nothing to do with ffV11 and its not an RPG!! Chances are there is no big announcement and it was a big joke!!
