Peter Molyneux reveals that the much awaited sequel to Fable is slated for release in late 2008...
Legendary games developer Peter Molyneux has revealed Fable 2 currently has an ETA of late 2008. The sequel to the original Xbox's Fable, which was critically revered in its time, will seemingly be in shops next autumn.
Speaking in an interview with Eurogamer, Molyneux commented of the pending release date is "Late 2008. Maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge - but are still on the trees, if you see what I mean."
Fable 2 is an exclusive for the Xbox 360 console and is due to broaden the saga of the much loved RPG series.
In the same interview, Molyneux also commented on another project that was underway at Lionhead Studios. Although reluctant to reveal any details, Molyneux did comment that the project is "a hybrid of Dimitri."
So, that effectively replaces one area of obscurity with another as The Dimitri Project has previously served as a codename for a game that is/was under development at Lionhead.
