Lionhead's RPG sequel hits another major milestone, the "first playable" version for the eyes of Microsoft Game Studios only...


In their latest development update, Lionhead has confirmed that Fable 2 has reached an important milestone in its production: the First Playable "FP" version.

Created solely for the eyes of the publisher, in this case Microsoft Game Studios, the FP of Fable 2 is said to include a number of gameplay components such as magical potions and 'dandy-type' wizards...and a Quest that will not be in the final game.

The latest update also included a new piece of artwork created for the game, though Lionhead has playfully censored the name of the location...those crazy guys...

skorm's bow is the legendary weapon, u need to do what u wrote, i did it by being good, then sacifice mercs the good ones, at midnight. At least two mercs maybe 3 u need a lot of bad poinets

I know we've learnt not to get too excited by Lionhead titles, but I've got to say this makes me want Fable 2 even more. I just hope they get the sense of exploration and adventure right this time around.

The thing about Oblivion's "bad/good" dynamic is that it didnt make a point out of, everything was entirely freeform. You could be a bad-ass, mo-fo, killing, maiming, stealing, and slaughtering, but it punished you (rightfully) for doing s... [ Read full comment... ]
