The action continues as players try to become one of the Top 60 goal-scorers, and progress to the next round…
Just about to start its third week, the FIFA Interactive World Cup Qualification matches seem to have caught the imagination of FIFA Live! fans. The EA/FIFA/Microsoft competition launched on October 15th, and since then the goals have been coming in thick and fast.
Clive Downie, EA European Marketing Director said that, âThe competition is fierce. More than a quarter of a million goals have been virtually scored and over 100 red and 1,000 yellow cards have been âvirtuallyâ handed out. One player has a winning streak of more than 63 games, and another player has scored 900 goals to dateâ¦The road to the FIFA Interactive World Cup is not an easy one, but the talented 60 players who make it through will know they are among the best of the best.â
With only 60 places available in the next stage, players from all across the continent continue to battle it out for qualification. The TVG Team would like to point out that we have tried our best to reach the dizzy heights of FIFA stardom, however, it seems likely that we are very much out of the competition â“ some of us couldnât even partake in the eventâ¦
