Final Fantasy return to Nintendo sets strong sales...
Despite attracting mediocre reviews, Square-Enix âFinal Fantasy: Crystal Chronicleâ has performed well in its first week of release in Japan, notching up sales close to 200,000 copies.
Whilst this wasnât enough to topple the mighty âWinning Eleven 7â from the top spot, itâs an encouraging sign for Nintendo and should certainly open the way for further ties with the Game Designers Studio.
Unfortunately a European release is unlikely to happen until Spring 2004 at the earliest.
