Looks like it's going to be a fast summer for US gamers.
Nintendo of America today announced a specific release date for the eagerly awaited GameCube title F-Zero. Currently in development at Segaās Amusement Vision, US GameCube owners will be able to pick up the game onā¦ June 26th.
The game has recently undergone a successful first public appearance, where Japanese gamers linked it closer to the SNES title then the sequel that appeared on the N64. Additionally an arcade version is being developed on the TriForce arcade board, which should allow for some link-up feature to work in Japan at least.
Hopefully this means that the title will be released in Europe before the end of the year; Nintendo of Europe recently confirmed that they expect the title to arrive in Q3, so weāll do our best to uncover further details.
