Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today celebrated yet another landmark achievement with the confirmation that âEyeToy: Playâ has gone on to sell over 2 million units throughout Europe.
With such strong demand SCEE have had to resort to using airfreight to ensure it meets the huge demand for the Playstation2 peripheral across the Holiday period.
"The demand for EyeToy has been fantastic, from Day 1 of release in early Summer right through the Christmas season." said Patrick Inskip, Senior Vice President of Operations for SCEE, "The use of air freight throughout this period has been crucial to keep up with the unrelenting demand across all of SCEE's European markets.
