Microsoft’s next-gen format could arrive on European shop shelves slightly more affordable then earlier expected...


Unconfirmed reports from European retailers have today provided the strongest hint yet at the launch price for the Xbox360, ahead of its European debut reported to happen during the last week of November.

If trade is to be believed then Microsoftâs next-gen format will launch for 349 euros, suggesting a highly reasonable £249.99 price-point in the UK and closer inline then earlier reports with the reported $299 US price-tag.

The report suggests that retailers could lower the price as far as 299 euros (£207); although TVG advises waiting for an official comment believed to happen at the Games Convention later in the month.

i bought a ps3 and i HAVE not looked back. even if alot of the games don't utilise it's 8 core (just for you 360 fanboys that's 6 core more than your pathetic dual core) processor well but in time they will. i think the 360 is at it's peak and won't ... [ Read full comment... ]

oh and on the subject of power, POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT GAMES THAT ACTUALLY MAKE USE OF IT. and so far only 1 game on the ps3 has(mgs4) the rest dont even try and bizarly i thought burnout was supposed to be designed for playstation yet it coulndnt ... [ Read full comment... ]
