Europe To Get 250,000 Additional Copies Of WoW News

Massive success for Blizzard prompts a new wave of World of Warcraft shipments across the continent...

Blizzard Entertainment have today announced that a further 250,000 copies of their massively successful MMORPG World of Warcraft will be shipped across Europe in the next fortnight. The confirmation comes as news that over 620,000 copies of WoW have already been sold across the territory since the game launched on February 11th 2005.

As well as the one month subscription included in the retail price, the new copies will also feature a 10-day Guest Pass, which will allow the new players to invite a friend to join in the WoW experience for a limited time.

Announcing the move Mike Morhaime, President of Blizzard Entertainment said that, "The success of World of Warcraft has proven our belief in Europe as a strong online gaming marketâ¦We are delighted to now be in a position to provide more boxes to retail and to welcome more players into the game."

It seems that the WoW frenzy is set to begin all over again on April 15th 2005 when the new shipment goes on sale...

Either way, it won't be long before we find out if our Mages, Warriors, and Draenei will have to pack for arctic conditions... that sounds so stupid... draenies suck n they r a race not a class

Wow is designed in such a manner that you HAVE to commit immense number of hours into the game in order to actually achieve anythuing. All the items you will get in drops will be 2-5 levels lower. The game is designed in codepency and farming tons of... [ Read full comment... ]

It's silly to call one MMO is better than another. They are all designed to target different market shares and niches. Thats like going to a women's shoestore and complaining that their are no boots. It is not the stores fault, it is yours.
