Europe Censors No More Heroes News

Rising Star Games confirms that the return of Suda-51 will be watered down for Europe...

It seems European gamers will have a slightly more sanitised version of Goichi Suda's No More Heroes when the game releases across the territory next year.

Speaking to MCV, Rising Star Games has confirmed that the European version will be based on the censored Japanese release. American gamers, courtesy of Ubisoft, will however have access to the full unedited version as it was originally intended.

Although strikingly graphic in terms of violent content, we can only imagine the costs of adding the extra content is behind the decision as opposed to the fear of a BBFC clampdown. Rising Star Games refused to comment on the decision claiming, "Ultimately, it's a fantastic game to play and that's all we care about at Rising Games."
