Specialists in MMO titles required to work on a future Ensemble title...
Age of Empires developer Ensemble Studios has listed a set of job vacancies on its website in a bid to recruit (amongst others) a Senior Server Programmer to, ââ¦assist in creating a world-class massively multiplayer game .â Other vacancies include Senior Game Programmers, but none of them allude to the creation of an MMO title by the developer â“ which the job description for the Server Programmer certainly does.
Of course this news is certain to lead to wild speculation that Age of Empires could soon be taking the path towards MMO development, but the truth is that Ensemble is one company that keeps its cards close to its chest â“ donât expect an official announcement for quite some time...
