Ensemble place a banner proclaiming “The Wait Is Almost Over” on their main page – could this be Empires III…

Just under 8 weeks ago, we reported on how a Polish distributor had listed Age of Empires III as one of its releases in the future.

The developers of the series, Ensemble Studios, have today added fuel to the rumours by displaying a huge phrase on its home page. Whether the phrase, âThe Wait Is Almost Overâ, refers to Age of Empires III is yet to be confirmed, but the prospect of being able to play the next instalment in the series is already whetting our appetites.
