Following a brief mention in a financial report, the UK-based publisher reveals more on the Xbox 360 title...

Empire Interactive has today confirmed further details for FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage on Xbox 360. Marking the franchise's debut in the next-generation, Ultimate Carnage was first mentioned in a financial report from the UK publisher in July 2006 as FlatOut: Total Carnage, though any further developments have been kept under wraps.

Built from the ground up for Xbox 360, Empire has announced that FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage will to expand the franchise's boundaries with a plethora of new modes (five extra in Single-Player mode, and two more in Multiplayer), more cars on the tracks (up from eight to twelve), and Downloadable Content.

Today's details come as Empire Interactive announced that FlatOut2, which was released during summer 2006 on Xbox and PlayStation2, had surpassed one million sales to date.

Easily as good as Burnout revenge but then maybe EA give you more advertising than Empire Interactive. Hopefully they'll release a demo and you can see how wrong the reviews are.

7/10 is a bit harsh. The game is available for around £30 online in the UK so it's good value. Forget the career etc. just head for Xbox Live multiplayer, you'll be playing ofr ages and you get all the cars and tracks. I'd give it 8/10 -... [ Read full comment... ]

Forza 2, DiRT; Burnout Paradise and Sega Rally on the way, there's better ways to spend £40.

This is just another one of those reviews that they hardly played the game and/or suck at it so they feel the need to "eh..." through the entire review. The user rating is the only thing accurately reflecting the quality of this game.

Did you play it online reviewer? You didn't mention it once in your review. Shouldn't you look at all aspects of a game when considering a score?
