While SCi slowly acquire bit by bit of fellow UK publisher Eidos, former EA President John Riccitiello, Founder of rival bidder Elevation Partners today took a swipe at the move, claiming that the offer carried a âsignificant share price risk for investorsâ.
In a statement released, Elevation Partners insisted that its cash offer represented greater value then the share option suggested by SCi, and poured doubt over their ability to maintain a larger business:
"While SCi is a successful company, it has little experience of integrating larger businesses, of running a major international games company or in managing significant intellectual properties."
