Eidos Reveals E3 Line-Up News

UK publisher set to unveil the next instalments in three of it's franchises at E3 '05...


As the number of days till the start of E3 Expo 2005 at Los Angelesā Convention Center continue to countdown unabated, publishers are beginning to unveil their line-ups for the three day event. Today, UK publisher Eidos have revealed the titles that they will be showing in a couple of weeks time.

Although a majority of the line-up is made of up returning franchises, with the company showing Tomb Raider: Legend, Hitman: Blood Money, and Commandos Strike Force, Eidos is also set to reveal itās anticipated Cops ānā Robbers Hip-Hop title 25 to Life.

Confirming the line-up, Paul Baldwin, Vice President of Marketing, Eidos said "E3 2005 marks the unveiling of the latest installments of three of the industry's most successful franchises in addition to a first glimpse of two of the most iconic characters, Lara Croft and Agent 47ā¦The Tomb Raider, Hitman and Commandos franchises make highly anticipated returns featuring new engines and dramatically enhanced gameplay features. Additionally, Eidos will be presenting 25 To Life the first to market urban shooter featuring timeless Cops and Robbers gameplay."

With the anticipation surrounding the return of Lara and Agent 47 building as a possible return to glory for the ailing company, Eidos are sure to be looking towards E3 2005 to show a possible re-emergence of the āgolden ageā of a few years ago.

The controls and camera in Tomb Raider Legend are even worse than Tomb Raider AOD. I don't like the analog stick for the caracter movement
