Former chairman assumes acquisition duties at the resurgent UK publisher...
As SCI continues to re-establish itself as Eidos the UK publisher today appointed Ian Livingstone as Product Acquisition Director.
Prior to the SCI acquisition, Ian Livingstone was fundamental to the formation of Eidos serving as a major investor, Chairman and Creative Director, largely responsible for securing Tomb Raider, Championship Manager and Commandos for the publisher; prior to this he established Games Workshop with his flatmate Steve Jackson along with the Fighting Fantasy book series.
In his new role Livingstone will be responsible for ensuring that the publisher has a strong portfolio of titles, which will include working with internal studios to create new franchises and securing new titles from external studios.
