Eidos secure the assistance of Charlton's Team Coach for Champ Man 5...
Eidos today confirmed that it has enlisted the assistance of Charlton Athleticâs Team Coach Mervyn Day as a consultant to provide advice on the forthcoming Championship Manager 5.
Dayâs main role is to ensure the authenticity and realism of Championship Manager 5, with one of his main priorities to expand, develop and hopefully sort out the training system in conjunction with Beautiful Game Studios.
In addition Day will also provide crucial profiles on specific players, analysing their key skills, temperaments and will provide details on the staff setup at English clubs.
Day enthuses, âMy main role is advising the boys on what is realistic and true to life football-wise. Iâm devising a realistic training programme that takes in the needs of the whole club. Hopefully my involvement can contribute to the continued success of the Championship Manager series and further improve the realism of the game.â
