Eidos Announce Hitman: Contracts News

Eidos finally announce the third title in the multi-million selling series...

Hitman fans will know that weâve known about the latest title in the multi-mission selling series for quite some time now, however Eidos took the chance to officially announce âHitman: Contractsâ earlier today.

Scheduled for release in Spring 2004 on Xbox, Playstation2 and PC, the game begins in Paris where Agent 47 finds himself wounded and trapped in a dangerous situation.

Itâs claimed the game features an entirely new graphics engine, showcasing your âworkâ in brutal detail and brings the new locations to life; in addition Eidos claim that the game features an improved control system and a more gradual learning curve to ease newcomers into the hard-core action. Whilst the accompanying video doesnât show any in-game action, it certainly sets the tone for what to expect from the latest game in the phenomenal series.

Janos Flösser, managing director of Io Interactive says:
âHitman Contracts will reveal a new side to Hitman. The game will be epic, highly disturbing, but most importantly an enjoyable experience. The technology we are employing will make it one of the most advanced games on the market.â

Mike McGarvey, ceo of Eidos says:
âThe Hitman series has massive mainstream appeal and is already well established as one of the industryâs biggest original intellectual properties. Hitman: Contracts is a sure-fire hit for 2004.â

Weâll have more on âHitman: Contractsâ soon.
