Eidos Announce CM5 Delay News

Eidos confirm that the long-awaited Championship Manager 5 will miss its release slot this month, and may even be released in the New Year…
Eidos have today announced that Championship Manager 5 will not be released in October as planned. The British firm hopes to have the game released before Christmas, but admits that, âthis may extend into the New Year.â
No reason has been given for the delay, but the company was quick to reassure that the Xbox and PS2 versions of the game remain on course for a Spring 2005 release.
As we reported earlier today, CM5 rival Football Manager 2005 (from the creators of Championship Manager 1-4) is due to be released in November 5th.
