Microsoft announces cut-price videos on the Marketplace for a limited time only on Good Friday...


Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live users will be able to download up to five movies from Xbox Live Marketplace at a price of 100 Microsoft Points each. The offer will start at one minute past midnight tomorrow (Good Friday) and will remain until one minute to midnight later that day.

Users can download both standard and high definition versions of the movies at 100 MP each, which is a significant price slash from the previous 250 MP and 380 MP pricing for standard and high definition film rentals respectively.

A similar 24 hour sale of video rentals on Xbox Live Marketplace took place last December 28th.
