Square-Enix confirms precise release dates for the PSP 'anniversary' editions of the RPG franchise's origins...

Having already confirmed a broad European release period for Final Fantasy I & Final Fantasy II on PSP earlier in the year, Square-Enix has today announced more precise launch dates for both titles.

Scheduled to arrive on February 8th 2008, Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II set take gamers back to the iconic RPG franchise's origins, with revamped visuals and brand new dungeons to explore.

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II represent the foundations of the Square Enix success story. They are the first two imaginative steps in the long and distinguished history of the Final Fantasy franchise. With these beautiful new versions, fans can now experience the origins of Final Fantasy wherever they go."

The new editions have already launched across both Japan and North America earlier in 2007.
