EA announce plans to bring Square-Enix latest title to Europe and other PAL territories...
EA today announced plans to release âFinal Fantasy X2â throughout Europe and PAL territories.
Scheduled for release in Europe in 2004, the game has already shifted over 2million units since its Japanese release on March 13th 2003.
'Square Enix has a long-standing reputation for developing incredibly creative properties of the highest quality,' said Frank Sagnier, Vice-President EA Partners Europe. 'FFX-2 is a breakthrough in the Final Fantasy series in terms of gameplay as it appeals to its core fans whilst its enhanced accessibility will attract an even broader consumer base.'
'We are absolutely thrilled to offer Final Fantasy X-2 to the PAL market. We at Square Enix Europe will be working hard with Electronic Arts to ensure that this latest addition to the Final Fantasy series is a big hit with both our existing fans and newcomers alike,' said Tom Yoshikai, Deputy Managing Director of Square Enix Europe.
