Curious George and The Fast and The Furious to be published in PAL territories by Electronic Arts...
Electronic Arts and Namco-Bandai have today confirmed a continuation of their relationship with the news that EA will be publishing two titles from the Japanese company in PAL territories.
The end of Summer 2006 sees the release of The Fast and The Furious based on the events of the forthcoming movie, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, for PlayStation2 and PSP. Featuring an emphasis on Drift Racing, the game will include context-based camera and rumble systems to improve immersion, and the ability to customise the vehicles in the game with real-world body kits. The Fast and The Furious will also include online gameplay for up to four players or offline multiplayer for two.
The second title announced in the deal will be the videogame adaptation of Curious George on PlayStation2 and GameBoy Advance, which will be released during October 2006. Following the story of an inquisitive monkey called George, the game will see players take part in a number of adventures in the big city as he follows The Man with the Yellow Hat. Besides the main story mode, Curious George will also featuring unlockable mini-games and exploration gameplay that leads to 'humorous' situations.
We'll have more on both titles shortly...
