An eclectic mix of Latin Jazz, melodic Indie, and House music? Must be the soundtrack to another EA Sports title...


Electronic Arts has today released the soundtrack for UEFA Championship League 2006-2007, due for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation2, PSP, and PC at the end of March.

Made up of the usual eclectic tracks that typify an EA Sports release, the eleven tracks cover genres such as Latin Jazz from the last Ray Barretto, and House from NYC-based artist, Osunlade.

"The UEFA Champions League is an action-packed tournament that brings out the passion football fans have for their favorite club," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA. "Fans are taken on an emotional rollercoaster as they follow their team through the ups and downs of the tournament and this is the spirit that we wanted to capture for the in-game soundtrack in the official UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 videogame. We have assembled an exhilarating collection of music from around the world that guarantees there's something for everyone."

What the fuh... not.. what the hell happens with Arsenal and Man U?? EA needs to sort their sugar out I mean FIFA 07 was awful and this is Champs league game could be worse than this is soccer game. Don't pay 30£ for crap!

Nice! Another cool game by EA Sports. The soundtrack for the game is awesome too. Andy Caldwell feat. Gina Rene and that new group out of San Jose CA, Uneaq. Dude where can I get the music?

Having played PES for the last 5 years I can say that this is the first version of FIFA (by any other name) that beats it on and off the pitch.
