EA Replays Its Classics News

Syndicate, Road Rash, Desert Strike and more heading to a shiny UMD...

PSP owners look set for another batch of nostalgia if EBGames and GameStop are anything to go by, with a listing for a PSP compilation entitled EA Replay currently appearing on both retailers' websites.

Like the recently released Capcom Classics Collection Remix, the game will support Wi-Fi multiplayer and will feature the following titles from EA's past:

  • Grey Matter's B.O.B.
  • Budokan: The Martial Spirit
  • Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf
  • Jungle Strike
  • Haunting Starring Poulterguy
  • Mutant League Football
  • Road Rash
  • Road Rash II
  • Road Rash 3: Tour de Force
  • Syndicate
  • Ultima VII: The Black Gate
  • Virtual Pinball
  • Wing Commander
  • Wing Commander: The Secret Missions

Although there's undeniably some classics from a time when EA was a little more creative with its output, however, there's still plenty more we'd like to see such as the 1990 bloodtastic classic The Immortal - well when you've got a back catalogue as comprehensive as EA, we guess there's plenty of scope for EA Replay Vol 2,3,4,5...

Look out for official confirmation soon.

There's some classics that need updating -Road Rash with a Test Drive Unlimited structure would be awesome.
