EA Releases First Trailer For `Black` News

Criterion`s mysterious FPS confirmed as a February 2006 release as EA reveals the first trailer...
Electronic Arts has today released the first trailer for Criterion Games' first-person shooter Black, which shows exactly how intense the experience of playing the game will be. With smoke and debris raining down onto the environments, including chunks from a collapsing building, Black seems to be preparing to offer gamers a raw and intense gameplay experience.
The publisher has also confirmed that Black has been pencilled in for a February 2006 release on Xbox and PlayStation2, although an exact date is yet to be released.
Black is definitely shaping up to do for the FPS genre what Criterion's Burnout franchise has done for arcade racers, capturing an intensity rarely seen in other first-person shooters. We'll have more on Black shortly...
