EA move the release of FIFA 2003 forward to the same date as Pro Evolution Soccer 2…
EA today announced that it has pushed forward the release of the multi-format FIFA 2003 to October 25th. The keen-eyed out there may realise that this is the same date as the superlative Pro Evolution Soccer 2 finally arrives on European shelves.
This heavy-weight fight must mean only one thing; that EA are running scared and do not want Konamiās effort to gain any extra time on the seasonal best-seller. However football fans itās time to sit up and make a difference; whilst we canāt comment on FIFA 2003 yet because review code has yet to arrive, weāve been playing Pro Evo 2 for the last couple of weeks and itās safe to say that itās the best football game weāve ever played. Support for the Pro Evo series has begun to pick up momentum over the last few years, and hopefully this year will see the game get the commercial justice that it deserves.
This Friday is the day when two football giants come together; itās up to you to decide who winsā¦
