EA Delays Mercs 2 And Bad Company News

Mercenaries sequel and the original Battlefield title suffer from pushes into EA's next financial year...


Delivering its Q3 results, EA has today confirmed delays to both Mercenaries 2 and Battlefield Bad Company.

Both titles were originally due for late 2007 releases, however the push into the rather vague next financial year period, leaves them sitting anywhere between April 1st 2008 and March 31st 2009.

Speaking about the delay EA's John Riccitiello, Chief Executive Officer claimed, "While we are disappointed that two titles slipped out of the March quarter, Burnout Paradise is off to a terrific start and we are looking forward to the upcoming launches of Army of Two and FIFA Street 3."

Newsflash it ain't that hot after all, it's not bad, but considering the power of the humble PS3 if the truth be told, it's just upscaled PS2 graphics, and Mercenaries but in Venuzela and not Korea this time round.

So the question asked a million times all over the web with every different answer is:
Is there a 2 player off-line coop mode!
The people at Gamestop said there definitely was so we bought it and cannot see a way to play 2 player coop on one consol... [ Read full comment... ]
