In Burnout Paradise you're given the keys to the city, but it's up to you to earn the keys to the meanest and most dangerous cars on the street, and earn your Burnout licence.

EA Confirms Burnout Paradise Demo + Release News

Burnout Paradise carves up the track on PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 early in the New Year...


Missing the traditional Christmas release, EA Games have confirmed that Burnout fans won't have too long to wait with confirmation that the true next-gen debut will appear in North America on January 22nd, setting up a European release on January 25th.

Ensuring that Burnout fans will have something at least during the Christmas period, a Burnout Paradise demo will appear on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network during December. Featuring the all-new Stunt mode, alongside three online Challenges and racing through the streets in search of the fastest Burnout Route, we'll have further details on the demo very soon.

Alex Ward, Creative Director at EA Criterion says, "The Burnout series has always been about reinvention. Burnout Paradise does exactly that. This is the definitive Burnout experience because Paradise removes all restrictions, breaks all the rules and puts the control in your hands. We're taking risks with Paradise but we believe that every iteration of Burnout stands on its own and we feel Paradise is the best Burnout yet."

now you can unless you own a 360, the cagney update is now online ready for download in the playstation store (360 owners have to wait another 3 weeks cause criterion games are too lazy to sort out the minor bugs on the 360 version)

I love crusing online, but too many d*cks doing takedowns, i just want to cruise with people ok!
And cant wait to do marked man and road rage online, maybe stunt run.

I don't have any older burnout games, but this one is by far the best racing game I've ever played. There is so much to explore it looks awesome there are 75 cars in the game. So much better than Motostorm by many factors of 10. My current favorite ... [ Read full comment... ]

the problem is its now a franchise of EA as EA also wants gta4 and midnight club aswell looks like all the best games will eventually get eaten up by EA.

This game is rubbish, but I suppose that's come across already, from what most have written here.

I'm a casual gamer who loved the Burnout series. I could go in, place a few races, crash more than a few cars, and leave a happy camper. It worked out frustration and stress like nothing else. No longer. This new game is a complete detraction fro... [ Read full comment... ]
