EA confirm that a new console Medal of Honor title is in the works - First Details...
After we brought you the first details on a new Medal of Honor title currently in the works from the home-consoles, EA today officially announced the titles along with several new PC titles in the franchise.
As we revealed yesterday, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is set during the Pacific Theatre of Operations from 1941-1944, giving players the chance to fight the Japanese from Pearl Harbour to the shores of the Philippine Islands. Players assume the role of Marine Corporal Joseph Griffin, as he survives the attack on Pearl Harbour, leads the assault of Guadalcanal, and finally rescues his brother from a Japanese POW camp in the Philippines.
The game will feature a new 2-player co-operative mode, however EA have yet to confirm the initial rumour that two different versions will appear, the first in autumn 2003 followed by a second release in autumn 2004.
