EA Announces Need for Speed Carbon News

EA officially lifts the wraps from the next Need for Speed...
Making the briefest of appearances at Sony's E3 conference and the subject of much speculation since, EA today confirmed, rather predictably, that the next Need for Speed will be out just in time to take the Christmas No.1 again.
Currently in development for the Playstation3, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, PSP, Nintendo DS and GameBoy Advance (think that's all of them), Need for Speed Carbon mixes the slightly questionable combination of high-speed street racing and treacherous canyon roads.
Confirming earlier reports Need for Speed Carbon will see the introduction of crews competing in all-out war for the city, taking over territories and rival neighbourhoods one block at a time. Too much heat draws the attention of the police, which shifts the action to Carbon Canyon, where territories and reputations can be lost in seconds.
Using all-new Autosculpt technology Need for Speed Carbon promises to ramps up the customisation options, providing players the power to design and tweak the crew's cars in every way.
Need for Speed Carbon is scheduled for a November 2006 release; keep an eye out for further coverage soon.
