EA Announce The Sims Superstar News

EA announce a new expansion pack which allows your sims to become superstars (Simon Cowell not included).
Perhaps as a move to recuperate some of the massive funds spent on the flagging Sims Online, EA today released the first details on a new expansion pack for The Sims.
The Sims Superstar allows you to literally turn your sims into rock-starās, modelās or actorās, as they attempt to gain fame and fortune and deal with the social troubles that they bring; although whether coke-fuelled visits to the toilet are going to make it is currently unconfirmed!
The key new feature in the expansion pack is that for the first time youāll be able to follow your sims to work; begin by signing up an agent in the all-new Studio Town ā“ a new location that features TV studios, spas, recording studios and fashion facilities ā“ and watch as your Fame Score increases and a collection of groupies follow your every movement!
A selection of new items is featured in the pack to tailor your house to the lifestyle of the rich and famous, from modern art collections to a skydiving simulator.
"The Sims have lived extreme lives, thrown outrageous parties, gone on hot dates, traveled to vacation destinations and owned pets. Now it's time for them to follow their dreams of making it big," gushes Jonathan Knight, producer at EA's Maxis studio. "The Sims Superstar will let players experience the outrageous world of celebrity, Sims style."
The Sims Superstar is scheduled for release in May.
