EA Admits Brando Voice Imitator In Godfather News

Hollywood star`s `fragile condition` during recording session means that Brando`s voice will not feature in the forthcoming game...
Electronic Arts has admitted in a feature with the New York Times that due to his increasingly frailty at the time of the single voice recording in February 2004, the late Marlon Brandoâs tones will not be used in the forthcoming The Godfather: The Game. Instead the voice of Don Vito Corleone will be recorded by an imitator using the single recording session at the actorâs home in Mulholland Drive, LA as a guide.
Two of the original actors from the movie, James Caan and Robert Duvall, will be reprising their respective roles in the forthcoming game, although Michael Corleone will not look like or sound like Al Pacino as the actor turned down the offer to reprise his character.
The Godfather: The Game will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation2, PC and PSP in Winter 2005 and weâll have more on the title shortlyâ¦
