The hit PSOne title is coming to the GBA, first screens and details inside so come on in.
Weâve known that there was a version in the works, today we can bring you the first screens. Driver 2 is a conversion of the hit PSOne title, where players take on the role of Tanner, an undercover cop posing as a driver for hire, players take on a variety of missions and game-play modes including such favorites as Trailblazer, Checkpoint, Capture the Flag, Survival and more. Ramping up the intensity is a variety of multiplayer modes that allow up to four players to scream through wide open city streets.
The game is currently being developed by Sennari Interactive and uses their proprietary X2 engine technology for the Game Boy Advance, Driver 2 Advance features superior driving physics including sliding and crashing, as well as visible vehicular damage, and special effects such as engine and tire smoke, fire and car shadows.
âWeâve heard the worldwide cry of the massive Driver fan-base and are pleased to announce Driver 2 Advance for todayâs top-selling portable game system,â said Larry Sparks, Vice President of European Marketing. âWith the same addictive game play and pulse-pounding missions, Driver 2 Advance for the Game Boy Advance has the potential to continue the top-of-the-charts success that the entire Driver franchise has enjoyed.â
Driver 2 on the GBA could turn out to be a better game then the PSOne original, which was destroyed by itâs atrocious frame-rate. Weâll bring you more on the title soon.
